Protein-Packed Vegan Oatmeal


1 cup rolled oats

2 cups plant-based milk (such as almond, soy, or oat milk)

2 tablespoons chia seeds

2 tablespoons hemp seeds

2 tablespoons maple syrup or sweetener of choice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Toppings: Fresh berries, sliced banana, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, etc.


In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats, plant-based milk, chia seeds, hemp seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are cooked and the mixture has thickened to your desired consistency.
