These spicy and cheesy jalapeño poppers are a great keto-friendly appetizer or snack.
8 large jalapeño peppers
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup almond flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
Place the jalapeño poppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top the jalapeño poppers with the crumbled bacon.
