About the Recipe

These spicy and cheesy jalapeño poppers are a great keto-friendly appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 8 large jalapeño peppers

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.

  5. Place the jalapeño poppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Top the jalapeño poppers with the crumbled bacon.

  8. Serve immediately.
