This simple and savory snack combines the smoky flavor of bacon with the fresh and crisp taste of asparagus.

Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus


  • 16 asparagus spears

  • 8 slices of bacon


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Wash and trim the asparagus spears.

  3. Cut each slice of bacon in half.

  4. Wrap each asparagus spear with a half slice of bacon, starting at the bottom and wrapping it around to the top.

  5. Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus spears on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.

  7. Serve the bacon-wrapped asparagus spears hot, garnished with some chopped fresh herbs or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, if desired.
