About the Recipe
You can use other white fish fillets like cod or tilapia for this recipe. Just adjust the cooking time according to the thickness of the fillets.
4 halibut fillets (6 oz each)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a mixing bowl, combine grated Parmesan cheese, almond flour, chopped parsley, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Pat the halibut fillets dry with a paper towel.
Coat the fillets with the Parmesan mixture on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and swirl to coat the bottom of the skillet.
Sear the halibut fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown.
Transfer the fillets to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
Serve the Parmesan crusted baked halibut hot with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
